Every photographer has that one special place.

Maybe it’s a quiet overlook that few people know about, a peaceful walking trail, a forgotten country road, a small-town main street, or even a corner of your own backyard that always seems to produce great photographs.

These are the places that don’t always make the travel guides but deserve to be discovered.

Tell us about one of your favorite hidden photography gems.

Some ideas to include:

📍 Where is it?

📷 What makes it a great place to photograph?

🌅 Is there a best season or time of day to visit?

🚶 Is it easy to access?

💡 Do you have any tips for photographing there?

Whether it’s a well-kept local secret or simply a place that’s special to you, we’d love to hear about it.

You might just help another photographer discover their next favorite location.

I’ve learned that some of the best photography locations are the ones you’ll never find on a “Top 10” list.

A quiet county road, a neighborhood park, an old bridge, a nearby lake, or even a field you’ve driven past a hundred times can become incredible when the light is right.

One of my favorite parts of photography is discovering those places that make you slow down and look a little closer. Personally, I really love a couple of our city parks and county parks around here. With the wooded ares and trails, there always seems to be an adventure left for me and my camera.

I’m excited to see the hidden gems everyone else has found. You never know when someone’s local favorite might inspire your next photo adventure.
