# 📸 Share Your Camera Date ‹› Start Here!

Welcome to the Weekly Issues discussion area!

Every Camera Dates issue includes a feature article and a matching Camera Date to help you explore photography, practice deliberately, and discover something new about how you see.

This is where I’d love for you to share those experiences with the rest of the Camera Dates community.

**You don’t have to complete the latest issue to participate.** Whether you’re working on Issue I, Issue XII, revisiting an older Camera Date, or making your own, you’re welcome here.

## Start Your Own Topic

When you’ve completed a Camera Date, click **New Topic** and tell us about your experience.

For your topic title, something like this works perfectly:

**Issue XI - My Camera Date Experience**

Or make it more personal:

**Issue X - My First Attempt at Panning**

Share as much or as little as you’d like. If you’re wondering what to include, here’s a simple guide:

- **Which Camera Date?** Tell us the issue number and exercise.

- **Your Keeper:** Upload the photograph you’re happiest with.

- **What worked?** What did you like about your results?

- **What challenged you?** What didn’t go quite as planned?

- **What would you do differently?** What might you try next time?

If you’d like, include your original Baseline photograph alongside your Keeper so we can see how your thinking developed during the exercise.

## Questions Are Welcome, Too!

You don’t have to finish a Camera Date before joining the conversation. If you’re stuck, confused about an instruction, or wondering how to approach a particular exercise, start a topic and ask.

Other photographers may have encountered the same problem, and your question might help someone else.

## A Few Simple Expectations

This isn’t a photography competition, and nobody is expected to produce perfect images. Beginners and experienced photographers are equally welcome.

When responding to someone’s work, be encouraging, thoughtful, and constructive. Ask about their decisions, share what you notice, and offer suggestions respectfully.

Please share photographs you’ve created yourself, unless you clearly explain that you’re using an image for reference or discussion.

The purpose of this area isn’t simply to show off finished photographs. It’s to share the process of becoming a better photographer.

I look forward to seeing what you create, what surprises you, and what you discover along the way.

**Shoot What Matters.** Jonathan
