Every photographer has a different approach to building their camera bag, and there’s no single “right” setup.

Whether you carry a smartphone, a mirrorless camera, a DSLR, or an entire backpack full of gear, we’d love to see what’s traveling with you.

Tell us about your kit!

Some ideas to get the conversation started:

- 📷 What camera do you use?
- 🔍 What lenses do you carry most often?
- 🎒 What’s your favorite camera bag?
- 📸 What accessory could you not live without?
- 🌄 Do you pack light, or bring everything just in case?
- 😊 Is there a favorite piece of gear that has a story behind it?

Feel free to post a photo of your camera bag, too. It’s always fun to see how other photographers organize their gear and discover equipment you may not have considered before.

Mine changes depending on where my Camera Date takes me, but my everyday kit usually includes:

- Canon EOS R5
- A few favorite lenses depending on the day
- Extra batteries and memory cards
- A sturdy tripod or monopod when needed
- Lens cloths and cleaning supplies
- A comfortable backpack that keeps everything organized

I’ve learned that carrying less gear often means I spend more time enjoying photography and less time deciding what to use. Sometimes the best camera bag is the one that encourages you to get out the door.
